The official notification of SSC MTS 2021 was released on February 05, 2021, by the Staff Selection Commission. The exam consists of two phases: a Computer Based Examination (Paper-I) followed by a Descriptive Paper (Paper-II).

SSC MTS 2021 Vacancy Details:

The MTS exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates in Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India, in different States/ Union Territories. Various posts under Multitasking staff recruitment are given below:

SSC MTS 2021 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates interested to apply for the exam will first have to meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. Check the eligibility criteria from below:

 

Nationality:

Candidates must be Indian Citizens or any of the following categories:

  • A Subject of Nepal, or
  • A Subject of Bhutan, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  • A Person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India 

 

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have passed the Matriculation (Class 10) examination or the equivalent from a recognized Board.

 

Age Limit:

18 to 25 Years as on 18-03-2021. This means candidates must be born not before 02-08-1996 and not later than 01-08-2003.

Besides that, there is relaxation in the upper age limit for candidates belonging to certain categories. Check the age relaxation criteria from below:

SSC MTS Application Status 2021

SSC releases the CHSL Application Status on the regional SSC websites. All the candidates who have applied for the posts can check the application status. Candidates will have to enter their ‘Registration Number’ and ‘Password’ or ‘Date of Birth’ to check whether or not their application has been accepted by SSC. After the release of the Application status, the SSC MTS Admit Card is released on the official website, i.e., ssc.nic.in.

 

SSC MTS Recruitment 2021 Selection Process:

SSC or Staff Selection Commission conducts Multi-Tasking Staff Exam (MTS) every year in 3 different stages:

  • Paper 1 and
  • Descriptive Test

It is mandatory for the candidate to qualify both these stages of examination in order to make it to the merit list prepared by SSC prepared at the end.

 

SSC MTS Recruitment 2021 Exam Pattern:

  • The examination of SSC MTS will be conducted in 3 different levels: Paer-1, Paper-2 (Descriptive Test) & Paper-3 (Skill Test).
  • Paper-1 is an online exam which is objective multiple choice question type. Paper-2 is a pen and paper mode of examination which includes a descriptive paper in English or any other language listed in the government policies.
  • Paper-III is a skill test that needs to be taken as per candidate's convenience.

  • SSC MTS Paper I will have four sections.
  • The duration of the SSC MTS Exam will be 90 minutes for General Candidates and 120 minutes for PwD Candidates.
  • Paper I is an objective type paper with four MCQ’s out of which one will be correct.
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer.
  • No marks will be deducted for incorrect or unattempt questions.

SSC MTS 2021 Admit Card:

The board has released the SSC MTS Admit Card 2021 on the official website. The SSC MTS Admit Card will be out for those candidates who must have met the minimum eligibility criteria and have successfully completed the application process along with the fee payment. Candidates will have to download the SSC MTS Admit Card 2020 from the official website. To download the call letter for SSC MTS you will need to have your SSC Registration no. and Password.

SSC MTS Answer Key 2021:

SSC will release the MTS Answer Key after the Examination is over. The expected date is generally 10 days after the commencement of the exam.

SSC MTS 2021 Result:

After declaring the SSC MTS Answer Key, the SSC will declare the Result. One can expect the result to be declared in a month from the date of declaration of the SSC MTS Answer Key.

The SSC MTS Result will be released separately for each stage of the exam. Candidates will have to enter their ‘User ID’ and ‘Password’ to view and download the scorecard.
