SSC CHSL 2021 Eligibility Criteria:

 

Nationality:

The candidate of SSC CHSL 2021 must be a Citizen of either India or Nepal or Bhutan. If a candidate is a citizen of Nepal or Bhutan shall have a Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Government of India in favour of him/her.

 

Educational Qualification:

  • The basic requirement is a pass certificate in class 12 from a recognized board or university.
  • For the post of DEO in the office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG), applicants must have studied science and mathematics as main subjects in Class 12th.

Note: Candidates who are appearing in their 12th standard can also apply provided they produce the educational qualification and the documentary evidence from the board/ university as of January 1st, 2021

 

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2021):

  • The age of candidates must be between 18 to 27 years.

SSC CHSL 2021 Apply Online Form:

SSC CHSL 2021 application form is made available online on the official websites- ssc.nic.in. Online registration & filling up the online SSC CHSL application form is mandatory to appear for the exam. The application process consists of several stages such as ‘Registration’, ‘Filling of Application Form’, ‘Uploading Documents’ and ‘Fee Payment’.

Important things which you should keep with you while filling the Application Form:

  • Scanned copy of your Signature (1kb < Size < 12 kb) in JPG format.
  • Scanned copy of your Photo (4 kb < Size < 20kb) in JPG format.
  • You should have a valid E-Mail I.D with you which can be used for registration purposes.
  • You should have valid Identity Proof with you.

Note: The Registration Number & Password as you will need the login details in the future, be it for downloading SSC CHSL Admit Card or for checking SSC CHSL Result. So, preserve it for future reference.

SSC CHSL Application Status 2021

SSC releases the CHSL Application Status on the regional SSC websites. All the candidates who have applied for the posts can check the application status. Candidates will have to enter their ‘Registration Number’ and ‘Password’ or ‘Date of Birth’ to check whether or not their application has been accepted by SSC. After the release of the Application status, the SSC CHSL Admit Card is released on the official website, i.e., ssc.nic.in.

The exam of SSC CHSL is conducted in three stages:

SSC CHSL Exam will be set both in English & Hindi. There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.

 

SSC Tier 2 Exam Pattern:

The paper will be conducted in pen and paper mode on following topics.

SSC Tier 3 Skill Test:

  • Typing Test for LDC/ JSA and Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant:
  • It is a skill-based test on computer and the medium of the Typing Test is Hindi and English. The candidates will have to opt for the medium of Typing Test (i.e., either Hindi or English) while filling up the online Application Form. The test is qualifying in nature.
  • The candidates will ask to type with a speed of 30 wpm in English and 30 wpm in Hindi in 10 minutes

 

Typing Test for DEO:

It is qualifying in nature. The speed of the candidates should be 8,000 Key Depressions per hour on Computer. The ‘Speed of 8000 key (15000 for DEO in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India -C&AG) depressions per hour on computer’ will be adjudged on the basis of the correct entry of words/ key depressions as per the given passage. the duration of the Test will be 15minutes and printed matter in English containing about 2000-2200 key-depressions (3700-4000 for DEO in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India - C&AG) would be given to each candidate who would enter the same in the computer

 

SSC CHSL Final Selection will be done on the basis of Document Verification (DV)

SSC CHSL 2021 Recruitment Syllabus:

The SSC CHSL Tier I Syllabus consists of four sections such as:

  • General Awareness

SSC will release the CHSL Answer Key after the Examination is over. The expected date is generally 10 days after the commencement of the exam.

SSC CHSL 2021 Result:

After declaring the SSC CHSL Answer Key, the SSC will declare the Result. One can expect the result to be declared in a month from the date of declaration of the SSC CHSL Answer Key.

The SSC CHSL Result will be released separately for each stage of the exam. Candidates will have to enter their ‘User ID’ and ‘Password’ to view and download the scorecard.
