RRB Group D Selection Process:

The selection process for various Group D posts will include three stages as below:

• Computer-Based Test
• Physical Efficiency Test
• Medical/Document Verification

 

RRB Group D 2021 CBT Stage 1 Exam Pattern:

The exam shall be Computer Based Test (CBT). Candidates qualifying in the CBT shall have to undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET). It will be followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination. There shall be a negative marking for 1/3rd marks for each wrong answer.

Physical Endurance Test (PET):

The candidates who qualify for the CBT are called for PET. The number of candidates called for PET is 3 times the community-wise total number of vacancies for the posts.

The RRB Group D PET is qualifying in nature and passing is mandatory. The qualifying criteria for male and female candidates are different.

 

Male Candidates	Should be able to lift and carry 35 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down; And, should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance.
Female Candidates	Should be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down; And, should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance.

 

Based on the performance of candidates in CBT subject to their qualifying in PET, candidates twice the number of vacancies will be called for Document Verification (DV)/ Medical Fitness Test as per their merit and options.

Appointment of selected candidates is subject to their passing requisite Medical Fitness Test to be conducted by the Railway Administration, final verification of educational and community certificates, and verification of antecedents/character of the candidates.

RRB Group D Apply Online:

As prescribed in the official notification of RRB Group D exam, Aspirants of RRB Group D exam filled the RRB Group D registration form within the dates mentioned by the board. Candidates are required to fill the RRB Group D application form online on the official RRB website.

The steps to apply for RRB Group D exam 2021 are as under:

• Visit the official RRB website http://www.rrbcdg.gov.in/
• Click on the link “Railway Group D Recruitment Notification”.
• Read the instructions given carefully and click on “Apply Online button”.
• Select “New Registration” if applying for the first time and not registered before.
• Fill up all the details asked such as personal, contact details and academic details.
• Upload scanned photograph and signature in the necessary format and size.
• Make the payment of the RRB Group D application form fee (details are given below).
• Recheck the information provided and Submit the RRB Group D online application form.
• Take the print out of RRB Group D application form for future reference.

 

RRB Group D Application Fees:

The candidates who are interested in RRB Group D vacancies have to pay the requisite application fee as per the below mentioned table -

The recruitment board accepts Fee payment of RRB Group D application form in both online and offline mode:

• Online Fee Payment through Debit Card, Credit Card and Internet Banking is accepted
• Offline Fee payment can be done through SBI Bank Challan Payment mode and Post Office Challan Payment mode.

 

RRB/ RRC Group D Salary:

The basic salary of candidates selected under RRB Group D Recruitment will be Rs 18,000. Besides the basic pay, the selected candidates will be provided with other allowances including Dearness Allowance (DA), Daily Allowance, Transport Allowance, House Rent Allowance (HRA), Allowance for Night Duty, Medical Facilities, Overtime Allowance etc. The in-hand salary of RRB Group Posts is Rs. 22,500-Rs.25,380 per month.

 

RRB Group D 2021 Admit Card:

Candidates who have successfully applied for RRB Group D Recruitment 2021 Exam will be issued Admit Card for first stage of CBT. RRB Group D admit card is issued online on the official website four days before the scheduled CBT. Registered candidates can download the admit card by entering the required credentials. The admit card contains details such as exam date, address of exam centre, time of exam as well as the candidate’s personal details.

To login on the official website of Railway Recruitment Board, a candidate is supposed to have:

• Registration Number/Roll Number
• Date of Birth/Password

The admit card for RRB Group D 2021 exam will be issued to candidates in two phases:

• For CBT
• For PET

 

RRB Group D 2021 Result:

• RRB Group D Result are declared separately by different RRBs on their respective websites.
• Generally, RRB Group D results are announced 3-4 months after the exam. Once the result is declared the link for downloading the result will be activated in this article.
• The qualifying marks for UR/ EWS/ OBC/ SC/ ST category candidates are 40/ 40/ 30/ 30/ 30 respectively. There is 2% relaxation for PWD candidates.
• This is the minimum qualifying marks and the cut off marks is generally higher than the qualifying marks. Candidates scoring marks lower than the above-mentioned qualifying marks are summarily rejected.
• Apart from these, the candidates can also view their scorecards for a specific period through the window provided. RRB Group D scorecard contains the raw score, pro-rata score, normalized score, along with other details of the candidates.
