RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria for RRB Group D will be calculated on terms of nationality, educational qualification, and age limit. Only those candidates will be selected for RRB Group D recruitment process who fulfils the eligibility criteria as mentioned below.

 

Nationality:

  • A candidate must be either:
  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal, or
  • A subject of Bhutan, or
  • Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

 

Education Qualification:

  • The candidates who had completed their High School (Class 10) from an institution recognized by NCVT/SCVT or held National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) provided by NCVT are eligible to apply for RRB Group D Recruitment Exam.
  • Age Limit (as on 01/07/2019)
  • The candidates who fall in the age group of 18 to 33 years are eligible to apply for RRB Group D exam. Age relaxation is provided as per the norms.

Note – Candidates should fill the same date of birth in the application form as recorded in the Matriculation/ Class 10th certificate or an equivalent certificate because no subsequent request for changing the date of birth will be considered.

The candidates belonging to reserved categories are entitled to certain relaxation on the RRB Group D Age Limit criteria.
