Candidates must ensure that they fulfil the prescribed Medic Standards for the post(s) for which they are applying. For this, they should refer to the medic standards for each post. Candidates found medically unsuitable for the applied post(s) shall not be given any alternative appointment.

The aspirants who wish to apply for the recruitment must first ensure that they fulfill the detailed medical standards for the respective posts. In order for candidates to do this, they should refer to the medical standards released for each post. The candidates who are called for the document verification have to pass the physical fitness test conducted by Railway Administration. The candidates who are fit to carry out the duties are considered in the merit list. The visual standard is one of the important criteria of a physical fitness test. Below are the medical standards.

FAQ’S:
The RRB NTPC is a competitive exam for the non-technical posts conducted by Railway Recruitment Board. The full form of NTPC is Non-Technical Popular Categories.
No, the minimum educational qualification for certain posts is 12th Pass or Undergraduate.
In such a case, candidates should apply under the category of the highest of the age relaxations.
Students awaiting results for the final exam are not eligible to apply.
The date to calculate the age limit will be July 01, 2019.
